CHANGES
Dr. Randolph B. Schiffer has been appointed the Haggerton Professor of Neuropsychiatry and Chair of the Department of Neuropsychiatry at Texas Tech School of Medicine effective November 1, 1998. Dr. Schiffer served on the faculty of the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry since 1981 and is currently Professor of Neurology, Psychiatry, and Environmental Medicine. Figure
Jasper R. Daube, MD, and Ann H. Tilton, MD, have been appointed by the American Academy of Neurology to serve as representatives on the Residency Review Committee. Dr. Daube is in the Department of Neurology at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Tilton is at Children's Hospital in New Orleans. They will each serve an initial term of 2 years beginning January 1, 1999. They will be eligible for reappointment by the Academy.
The Neurosciences Institute of Good Samaritan Hospital, Los Angeles, announced two new additions to their Neurosciences program. Dr. Ronald F. Young was previously Clinical Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Young is a recognized leader in the field of stereotactic gamma knife surgery. Figure
