Genotypes with at least one allele Wt (-/Wt) more frequent in G5 (89\%) than G1 (69\%; P=0,009) and in G2 (77\%) than G4 (88\%; P=0,003). Genotype II prevailed in G2 (22\%), rather than G6 (8\% P=0,001). Smokers and alcoholics are more prevalent in G1 (79\%; 40\%, respectively) and G3 (61\%; 36\%), than G5 (29\%; 20\%; P\<0,05).Conclusions: Presence of allele A (eNOS) and genotype II (ENG) associate with IA, smoking, acoholism.
