We concluded that transplantation of human fetal striatal cells is feasible and survival of transplanted cells was demonstrated, but patients with moderately advanced Huntington's disease are at risk for subdural hemorrhage after transplantation surgery. We believe that our published manuscript provides a fair and balanced description of our observations and agree with the editorialists that we need better treatments for this devastating disease.
